Vision Engineering’s DimensionOne image-capture and dimensioning software features large icons and a menuless format to capture images from the company’s Mantis, Lynx, and SX range of stereo inspection microscopes with a click of the mouse or a touch of the screen. DimensionOne can be used for quick image capture and markup or more complex on-screen geometric dimensioning.

Captured images can be annotated with a range of colors to maximize on-screen contrast. The software lets users measure circles, lines, points, angles, and distances and provides functions for creating intersecting lines and bolt circles. In addition, it allows the opacity of a captured image to be modified from 0 to 100%.

Image files can be saved in .png, .bmp, or .jpg formats and emailed, printed, or saved. A calibration tool supplied with the program enables on-screen calibration using a 1.00-mm or 2.50-mm diameter circle.

DimensionOne runs under Windows 7 or later versions. It is available in a range of languages, including English, German, Italian, French, and Spanish.
