Applied Software, a leading and nationally recognized Autodesk Value-Added Reseller, announced today that it has been named by Autodesk, Inc. as its newest Manufacturing Gold Partner. The company has also expanded its manufacturing sales and technical staff with experts in mechanical and plant engineering to better serve Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Eastern Tennessee and the Florida Panhandle.

Autodesk Gold Partners have achieved the highest level in the Autodesk Partner program and can offer complete Autodesk software solutions as well as proven and measurable technical expertise in a specific industry. Gold Partners are qualified to provide customers with full solutions, from pre- and post-sales support to training, implementation and customization services. They also work closely with Autodesk so they are equipped to help customers maximize their return on investment in Autodesk software solutions.

“Achieving Gold Partner certification from Autodesk validates the work we’ve been doing in the manufacturing industry for years,” said Richard Burroughs, president, Applied Software. “The certification, combined with investing in additional manufacturing solution specialists throughout our territory, positions us as the ‘go to’ Autodesk reseller for mechanical and plant engineering and manufacturing CAD solutions in the Southeast.”

As an Autodesk Gold Manufacturing Partner in Architecture, Engineering and Construction, Government and Manufacturing, as well as an Autodesk Authorized Training Center (ATC) in the Southeastern United States, Applied Software offers classes ranging from introductory to mastery level in a wide range of Autodesk manufacturing products, including Autodesk Inventor software products, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Mechanical and Autodesk Vault software. Applied Software instructors regularly rank in the top one percent of all Autodesk certified instructors worldwide. In addition to traditional classroom training, Applied Software’s Installation to Action program provides individual coaching, on-site and computer-based education, and specialized project management assistance.

“Like our clients, Applied Software employs architects, professional engineers, project managers and designers,” said Burroughs. “We work hard to have a finger on the pulse of the key industry trends and issues, which allows us to provide training and consulting services that address the challenges our clients face daily.”
