playtech online gamblingThere is love in the air between US based casino operators and online casino software programs with the promise of many unions being made in the near future. The giant online casino games software giant Playtech has reported that numerous US based casino operators have been knocking on their cyber doors bring flowers and candy in hopes of striking deals in preparation for the day when the online gambling market has its’ doors opened to the United States.

The sweet smell of possible success of Barney Franks HR 2267 online gaming bill which would legalize online gambling in the US is in the air and casino operators from all four corners of the US are readying themselves to be the ones to draw first blood from the veins of the online gaming industry. Mor Weizer from Playtech said in a Dow Jones Interview this past week “The timing is not clear but we see a genuine and positive momentum. We see a lot of interest from US casino operators and we are officially in discussions with numerous local groups”.

When the US House Financial Services Committee approved Congressman Barney Franks HR 2267 a few weeks ago, it received a rise in shares of the Playtech games provider and other gaming companies. Weizer also stated in the interview that “Local operators will dominate the US industry and because we operate as a business to business company, we do not compete with casino operators, this legalization will only benefit us”. Not being able to commit to a prediction of when the US will open its market to online gambling, Weizer added that when it does happen, we are in a good position to take advantage of the market when it does.
