Swarnim Kanth and Kartik Ramakrishnan sold a 2.5-bath home at 1336 Beckett Lane in Schaumburg to I. Chen Wang and Pokuang Allen Hsu for $512,000 on Aug. 4.
Kanth and Ramakrishnan paid $607,500 for the property in June 2006. The 2,865-square-foot home in Schaumburg Golf Course was built in 1992. It is located in the Park St. Claire subdivision.
Kanth is the director of software services at Lanworth, Inc., an information technology company specializing in the application of satellite and aerial remote sensing to natural resource management. Before that he worked at Kanbay Inc., where he served as a client engagement manager. Earlier, he was an architectural consultant at Subhash Dhar and Associates.
He has a B.A. from the Indian Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. in strategy, finance and marketing from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 870 home sales in Schaumburg during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $189,000.
