Technology company, LANDesk Software has plans to expand its business operations in South Asia including the Philippines after Thoma Bravo completes the acquisition of the company by the end of September.
LANDesk has headquartered in the Philippines for its operations in Southeast Asia. Andy Ruse, vice president of APAC LANDesk Software, Inc , said in an interview, that the Thoma Bravo, a leading private equity investment firm, has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase LANDesk Software from Emerson.
The move aims to accelerate LANDesk’s revenue growth and solidify its leadership position in delivering an integrated portfolio for simplifying the management of desktops, servers and mobile devices across the full spectrum of an organization’s IT environment.
Financial details were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of September.
The company strategy is selling their software solutions through a reseller channels like the Nexus, Globe Alliance with Innove and American Technology Inc., (ATI). The company provides professional training and support team for the channel partners in the region.
