Grid Net, a provider of IP-based software platforms, says it is working with Oracle Utilities to deliver advanced distribution management systems and meter data management technology to support utilities’ smart grid deployments.
Grid Net’s software platforms, the PolicyNet SmartGrid Network Management System and Smart Network Operating System (NOS), will complement Oracle Utilities’ software applications, such as Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management and Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing. The combined solutions will operate on a common data model, the companies say.
