It has been informed that Opera Software and Russian Inc. MegaFon have decided to sing an agreement. The federal mobile operator form Russia has also informed about this fact. Under this deal, a special package named “Unlimited Internet with Opera Mini” will be available for the MegaFon subscribers. Around 53 million subscribers of Megafon will avail this service after this deal.
MegaFon is the market leader in mobile internet market in Russia. It is having 39 % of the market share in terms of mobile web traffic in the country. So this deal will give the firm added advantage to retain its domination in the Russian market.
Head of new products and services, OJSC MegaFon, Aleksey Ivlev has informed that, statistics shows Opera Mini is generating huge traffic in the country. It is generating double amount of traffic as compared to the any other MegaFon user.
Hence this has been a huge package for the company. Sales Director of Opera Software, Russia and CIS, Mikhail Ilin has said that Opera Mini will help to build an active mobile web user community by the mobile .
