Jinny Software Intros ‘Ringback Tone Advertising’

Rome, Italy-based Jinny Software is globally known for its innovative suit of messaging, call and media and mobile advertising solutions. The latest addition to its offering includes “Ringback Tone (RBT) Advertising.” According to the company, this new solution provides mobile operators with an innovative new way to generate revenue and promote subscriber loyalty.

Through a recent press release Jinny has informed that its RBT has caused significant interest among its customers.

Jinny officials have informed that RBT Advertising allows mobile operators to offer customers additional personalization options. Now this allows an advertiser to use advertising messages in place of a ringtone.

Jinny said that leading operators in the MEA region have successfully used this new mobile advertising channel, which leverages. The success of RBT helped Jinny to continue its tradition of delivering cutting edge advertising solutions based on its mobile Advertising and Ringback Tone Server (RBTS) platforms.

RBT advertising solution comes with high value features that both operators and advertising agencies benefit from. These features include:

–A web portal to allow subscribers to ‘opt-in’ to RBT Advertising; select advertising tones that calling subscribers will hear; set blacklists for subscribers who will not hear ad tones; and set start and end times and dates for the tone.

–Bonus schemes whereby each time an opted-in subscriber hears an ad tone they accumulate points. Using the web portal, subscribers can view points accumulated and redeem points against gifts.

–A campaign provisioning interface that allows advertisers and operators to plan, design, price and launch RBT Advertising campaigns.

–An interface that allows operators to set the price per message.

The RBT advertising solution offers unique set of benefits to the Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and the advertisers. Recently The Mobile Marketing Association (News – Alert) underlined the importance of RBT Advertising in a recent white paper. It said that With RBT offered to 100 percent of the subscriber base, it eliminates the need for special handsets, applications or 3G devices.
