Computers and software : what to do if the flash drive is not detected by the computer?

Many a times it happens that everything is set perfectly even the computer does not detect the flash drive we put in the slot. The reasons for it can be many. One of the reasons can be that the computer fails in providing flash to your flash drive.

For the solution of this problem, one does not need to install any drivers to support it from outside. If your computer has windows 2000 or windows XP or Windows VISTA or SP4 that means your computer already has the drivers to support any flash drive. In case your computer does not have any of these versions, you can install the driver that is needed for your flash drive to work with it.

Another reason because of which the flash drive does not get detected by the computer is that the flash drive is not properly formatted. Or the conflict letter on the drive is not perfect. Or there may be some physical problem like the USB port is not fine or there is some sort of a problem with the connection.
