It is said that two pieces of evidence do not make a test. Yet, in our view, and also according to other industry observers, Apple really is going to present shortly the new iPhone 4G.

The first clue is the numerous leaks on the iPhone by next generation that have invaded the Net The second one is the last commercial initiative that Apple launched the Apple Store and those concerned a new offering to purchase iPhone 3G and iPhone 3G S.

A proposal which involves both U.S. users, which emphasizes Macitynet was also given the opportunity to buy iPhone without necessarily entering into a contract with AT & T, both consumers and other international markets.

iPhone. Now perfect for all budgets. So we read on the Apple Store online Italian, which proposes to purchase the smartphone of Cupertino in installments, in twelve months, without interest (TAN 0% – 0% APR).

This offer is only for those who call the 800 .554.533. Not just us, again, read the initiative as a result of Apple’s desire to get rid of stocks of the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3G S to make sure consumers do not put their wallets waiting for the arrival of the iPhone 4G.

New software start-up launches energy saving program for domestic computer users

March 31st, 2010

Software company WasteShield has launched its flagship product, WasteShield Home Premium for the domestic market. There has been an increasing adoption of green IT policies in the business world over the last few years, with many larger companies adopting power management software to limit electricity waste with some prominent companies saving in excess of $1million. This trend for energy conservation in IT is now beginning to filer into the consumer market. With 22% of people in the UK and 37% of people in the USA failing to regularly power down their PC’s, and the average user being able to save around £35 annually, massive global savings can be achieved.

The British firm has developed an advanced Artificial Intelligence platform which it has applied to the global problem of IT energy waste. The WasteShield platform has the ability to learn a users unique behavior patterns and manage various power states on the fly. Using this approach the company believes it has solved the problem of energy efficiency Vs user productivity and annoyance. With typical savings of over £35 per computer (mid range specification) every year, they are hoping to address the energy waste problem that costs businesses and households hundreds on millions of pounds globally every year.

WasteShield have decided to take a holistic approach to saving the public money on their electricity bills. By using detailed analysis of hardware and user behavior the software learns an individuals user habits and will make informed decisions about power use in real-time. The idea is that instead of just saving money when you accidentally leave your computer on for an extended period of time e.g. over night, a user will make multiple savings as the software learns to recognize when they take a break, have some lunch or leave their computer untended for any reasonable amount of time. Using multiple “senses” such as bandwidth, CPU, HDD use and numerous other user and activity derived inputs the software will only go into money saving mode when it knows that the user will not be disrupted. The software does not just produce a static approach to the analysis and decisions regarding the power usage but continuously monitors and adapts it’s decisions to the user’s ongoing behaviour.

The first version is aimed at the as yet undressed consumer market with a business version available later in the year. The company is also working on integrating their system into the home and office environment. This application of the technology will integrate heating, air conditioning and any electrical devices plugged into the mains.

The good news for money conscious consumers is the one off license fee for the life of the computer, meaning continued savings without a yearly cost. A free 15 day trial is now available for download at the company’s website ( Co-founder and CEO Ron Titchener says that “the key was to create an intelligent system that would actively and continuously reduce electricity waste without impacting on productivity.” Results have so far shown that the average desktop user could easily cut their electricity bill by an average of £35 per year. Even more encouragingly a heavy user with a high specification machine can save over £100 a year.
